Mt. Allen Day II

Will-Do June 2000: Santa Monica Mountains - Part II	Patsy and Lisa, left to right.
Patsy Price, Lisa Breland and I did a repeat hike from the day before. The air was definitely less hazy, but I didn't take as many pictures. Once I get with people, I can't shut up, but most of you knew this already ;-)

As you can see, the Pacific was much more visible this time around.

It was earlier in the evening, but the side of the mountain we hiked was mostly in the shade, hence the shadow shots.

Here we are at the summit. We all signed the log book. There were some interesting entries.

As with the shot above, I simply held out the camera and hoped I framed it well.

One last look up to the summit before descending.

These things were all over. Patsy knew what they were, but as with all plant life, I have no ability to retain names.

Actually this day we did see another person on the mountain, but I still can't believe that there is so little hiking taking place here, given how close it is to LA.
