What's New

Paul with his cell phone,
lining up the itinerary.

After hosting the Tree Lighting, it was time to make the rounds.

Paul in search of the remote controls.
He loves to push buttons, just like Daddy!

So, here we are at the Vanko's house.
Tom and Madelyn are waiting at this time for an adoptive child from Guatemala. We met them through HAPS, the agency that helped us get Paul.

They were gracious enough to get Paul some Christmas gifts. Until one has children, there is no way to fully describe the feeling of joy at seeing others be kind to your child.

Here's Madelyn and Monty watching Paul
tear into the presents. Monty is a Bijon Frisé
and is really a wonderful dog..

I had to get one of them with the tree.
Not a bad looking bunch!

Madelyn knocked us out with her Ravioli.
Tom is practicing being a daddy.
He'll be great.

Here's the wreckage. What a wonderful time!

So, next stop: the Mall.
I can't remember which one this is.
It might be Rockaway.

As you can see,
Paul can't wait to walk now.

God, he's cute!

Giving Mommy a kiss.

"I always wondered what was back here!"

"Man, this Mall walking stuff is tiring!"

On the way home we stopped to see Jim Vallat and wish him a "Joyeux Noel".

And finally, Paul discovers the dishwasher.

"Ooh, what have we here?"

Next stop: Christmas Day
