Hiking with the "baby backpack" at
Pyramid Mountain

In this section: hiking, another boat ride and our first visit to New Hampshire.

 Paul seemed perfectly happy seated up there.

Pyramid Mountain is a lovely place to hike.
This is on the top of the ridge.

Just before this section is a clearing from which the Manhattan skyline can be seen on a "clean air" day.

 Paul's first attempt at the life jacket.

This was his last calm moment,
then he got very upset.

Oh well, we will keep trying!

 Cornish Flat, New Hampshire

We went up to vist three of Maria's brothers who all live in the same area. Here's Paul's cousin Jenny with "the big guy".

Jenny is studying childhood development (I think that's right) and she just went crazy over Paul. He liked her very much as well.

 Skip and Sue were our gracious hosts. Their new house is wonderful.

Paul's Christening!

My mother, Margaret, sister Laura and niece Sara all travelled from Cincinnati to be with us for the big event.

 Paul's baptismal gown was worn by all her siblings.

Father Lawrence officiated at the sacred event.
Jim Vallat, our Swiss neighbor, was also in attendance.
