OK, I know that if you smoke one cigar a day you are in
jeopardy of mouth, lip, gum and throat cancer. For the record, I smoke on average about 1
cigar every 10 days, perhaps less than that even, so please don't feel you have to
"save me from myself". Anyway, These two beauties were purchased on Ocean
Drive in South Beach, Miami Beach. The one on the left is a Dominican Montecristo Number 2
and the one of the right is a Cuban Montecristo Number 2. Notice "Habana" on the
Cuban label. Also, the Dominican is more of a pyramid (conical) shape, whereas the Cuban
is a torpedo (only tapering toward the end). The Cuban also has a much darker wrapper and
is fatter overall. While the Dominican is one of my top ten cigars, the Cuban seen here is
my number one pick in the whole wide world. |

Here's Maria after a hasty shower
watching the sunset from the hotel dock.

Here's the last of the sunset from
the beginning of the dock.

This is one of the beaches at John
Pennekamp State Park on Key Largo,
a place of remarkable beauty.
|

It's tough to see, but there are
two manatees getting a drink here.
|
|
|

Pennekamp boasts a wonderful
walkway through the Mangroves.
|

Our view out the double doors: These
pictures just don't the view justice.

Early morning. Here's my "sunshine"!
|

This is another beach at Pennekamp.
Lot's of coral and fish.

End of the sunset.

While I was on the JetSki, this rain squall
moved in and made a gorgeous rainbow.

Here's me on the JetSki. This thing
goes 48 MPH!

Here's the view from an observation platform
in the Mangroves. It was so peaceful there.
83 degrees on December 6th is never
a bad thing.

Here's the view looking to the right from
our room's balcony. This is the
dock in the other shots

Here's Maria with our Sebring convertible parked on Ocean Drive in South Beach.

Maria is in the background giving the
water hose to the manatees.

This is another time of day..
